Ascential Technologies Adds Dustin Brown as General Manager of Three Rivers Location
Grand Rapids, Mich., March 18, 2025 — Ascential Technologies, a leading global provider of automated diagnostic, inspection, assembly and test systems and services across a wide range of industries, has hired Dustin Brown as the general manager of its Precision Machining operation in Three Rivers, Michigan.
In this role, Brown will oversee and support all operations and leadership related duties for the facility. He brings more than 20 years of experience in operations, continuous improvement and lean manufacturing to the position.
“Dustin is a data-driven leader with a keen eye for seeing the big picture and the capability to improve efficiency, quality and sustainability through his swift analysis and problem-solving skills,” said Matt Boshoven, General Manager of Ascential Technologies’ Transportation in the Americas. “His proven ability to effectively lead and manage teams will be a tremendous asset as he helps drive business success, implement and advance key performance indicators, and enhance overall output and performance at the site.”
Most recently, he was the plant operations manager at TH Plastics, a custom injection molding manufacturer for automotive, medical and industrial markets where he was responsible for more than 300 employees as well as the performance of the plant. During his tenure at TH Plastics, Brown doubled the profit margin at his site within one year and recorded a 50% reduction in recordable injuries, significantly improving the site’s safety culture and productivity.
Prior to his role as TH Plastics, he spent five years at Transcendia, a leading source for custom-engineered plastic and film solutions for a variety of markets. There, he acted as plant manager before quickly working his way up to director of operations, overseeing all operations and activities across three facilities. Brown also previously held numerous quality and continuous improvement management roles at companies focused on plastic injection molding, metal stamping and assembly.
He holds a Bachelor of Science in Applied Science from Western Michigan University and is currently pursuing his Master of Business Administration there as well.
