Ascential Technologies Hires Brunno Moretti as President of ADAS Solutions

Grand Rapids, Mich., Nov. 12, 2024 — Ascential Technologies, a leading global provider of automated diagnostic, inspection, assembly and test systems and services across a wide range of industries, has hired Brunno Moretti as president, ADAS (Advanced Driver Assistance Systems) Solutions by Burke Porter (Ascential Technologies’ Transportation division). 

Moretti will leverage his extensive ADAS experience to lead Burke Porter’s ADAS Solutions business which includes supporting the rapidly expanding Sentric ADAS Calibration Labs. Sentric provides precision calibration of ADAS-equipped vehicles that meet the highest standards by using factory methods and tools to ensure vehicles are calibrated to original equipment manufacturer (OEM) specifications.

Before joining Ascential Technologies, Moretti worked for Cepton Technologies, most recently as the senior vice president of Product & Commercial Operations, in which he achieved several milestones, including leading the successful acquisition of the industry’s largest near-range LiDAR business deal. Prior to Cepton Technologies, Moretti held senior leadership roles at ZF Friedrichshafen AG, General Motors – where he worked for approximately 10 years – and UBER ATG. During his time at General Motors, Moretti managed a team working to deliver sensors to the world’s first robotaxi fleet, led over 14 sourcing activities for autonomous vehicle sensors and oversaw early stages of the company’s internal LiDAR efforts.

Moretti holds a Master of Business Administration from the University of Indiana and a Master of Science in Energy Systems Engineering from the University of Michigan. He also holds a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering from Michigan State University.
